A home based business opportunity. This is an online store selling medical scrubs & uniforms; and variety of nursing and medical uniforms. The website for sale is professionally designed and customized for the industry. It provides detailed descriptions, pictures of the fabrics and sketches of the scrubs designs.
The business does not carry inventory, the orders are forwarded to the suppliers and products are drop shipped directly to customers. There are several different suppliers; however, most of the products are Cherokee’s and HQ’s (total 65%).
The business is stable throughout the year, with some increase in sales during Christmas and Valentine Holidays.
The business has an extensive base of loyal customers. This SOLD Internet Business has about 2000 customers and about 50% are repeat customers. The customers can order products online, over the phone, or fax. Almost all customers are located in the USA.
Operations: The owner operates the business full time with the help of a spouse. The main responsibilities include:
- Providing Customer Service: The Owner would receive orders, answer questions, handling returns and answer phone calls. The business has 30 days return policy, to build a customer loyalty and increase sales.
- Ordering Product From The Suppliers: (25-30 orders a day, more during holidays) The owner would call suppliers on a daily basis to order products and receive updates on special deals and promotion. Major suppliers have option to order product directly from their site.
- Updating Site: The owner would adjust price of the scrubs comparing to other sites to be competitive in the market place on weekly basis. The site updated for special promotions on monthly basis. And every 6 month the design of the site would be changed.
Potential: The business could be substantially grown by online and off-line advertisement. It can also expand to catalog based; or face-to-face sales.

Are your sales exclusive to the web only? Not at all, our sales extend to include clinics, ALF facilities, Physician’s offices, schools, hospitals and pharmacies. We also sell non-medical related items such as polo’s, business and restaurant attire, etc. Rest assured, we will always provide the same service, quality and savings to our website customer, that we have given our local customers in the past.
How can you be reached ? Our customer service department is open from 10:00 until 4:30 EST, Monday through Friday. However, you may also reach us by e-mail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or you may fax inquiries. We will respond to all your requests or inquiries within a 24 hour period.
Is your Web site secure? All orders are encrypted with, and protected by the industry standard SSL {Secure Socket Layer Encryption Technology} for our customers protection by VeriSign. You may rest assured your information is secure with the added protection of our block and firewall.
Which methods of payment will you accept? We accept most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) and provides encryption with VeriSign to protect its customers. Customers may choose to pay for their purchases by using personal check, or money order. Purchases made using a personal check will take slightly longer to process verses purchases made by using your credit card.
How will my merchandise be shipped? We will normally ship your purchases via the UPS ground services. Our website facilitates same day shipment if received by noon that day. Orders placed after 12:00 will ship next day. Deliveries may be subject to availability of merchandise, however, in most cases we carry an abundance of stock to cover orders. Customers wishing overnight or 2nd day deliveries must call our customer service department so that we may attend to your special needs. May customers outside the United States place orders? We do not offer this option at this time.
How do I determine what size to order? For your best fit, we offers a guide to help determine your perfect fit. This “Size Chart” will give you waist, bust and hip measurements. It is important to remember that you should generally order your merchandise in the same size that you normally wear presently.
Do you charge customers a sales tax? Companies are required by state law to collect a sales tax from residents in the states where companies have established offices. We charge sales tax in our state only. Sales tax will be calculated and applied during the check out process for our state residents only.
Do you offer a guarantee? Our 30-day Guarantee: Should you need to return or exchange your merchandise, please complete the on-line contact form in order for our customer service department to handle your account in a timely fashion. We will then generate a return authorization number for your return or exchange and e-mail your 6-digit number within 24 hours of receiving your completed form. Our policy requires that all original tags must remain on the merchandise for proper handling. Merchandise that has been altered, worn, laundered, monogrammed, or removed tags may not be returned or exchanged. Our customer service department will evaluate each return and credit your original method of payment, excluding shipping charges and restocking fees. Items ordered and refused after shipping are subjected to restocking fees of $3.00 per item and forfeit return of shipping costs No items may be returned after 30 days.
